OEM Client in Bruntingthorpe, Lutterworth seeks a Manager - Vehicle Development Engineering to lead the chassis engineering team in creating safe, cost-efficient motorcycle components. You will drive design, validation and release of chassis parts across new models, coordinating with global teams and external suppliers.

The role requires extensive automotive experience, strong CAD skills in Creo and ProE, and proven leadership across UK and India teams within a structured development process.

Formación

• Extensive OEM/automotive experience with hands-on CAD.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the engineering team for development and validation of components within one of the sub functions (Aesthetics, Dynamics, Structures) across all new motorcycle models.
• Conduct daily flow meetings to manage operational execution and workload.
• Ensure performance, safety and regulatory compliance within the NPI framework.
• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings to meet cost, quality and specifications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product Strategy, Industrial Design, Sourcing, Quality) to align inputs and timelines.
• Manage design changes and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into each design release.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing to close DFM and PFR points.
