Job summary

Futura Design Ltd. is seeking a Manager – Vehicle Development Engineering for an OEM client based in Bruntingthorpe, Lutterworth. You will lead the Chassis Engineering team within Global Technical Organisation, driving design and development of chassis parts across motorcycle models.

The role requires managing cross-functional collaboration with Product Strategy, Industrial Design, Sourcing, Quality, and Manufacturing, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to cost and regulatory targets.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years’ OEM or similar domain experience with hands-on CAD (Creo/ProE)
• Proven track record leading a team
• Experience in design of motorcycle components/subassemblies
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements for motorcycles

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team for chassis components across sub-functions (Aesthetics, Dynamics, Structures).
• Conduct daily flow meetings to manage workload and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in NPI.
• Develop 3D CAD models (Creo) and 2D drawings meeting cost/quality targets.
• Manage eBOM in PLM and release design documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align inputs and timelines.
