Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking an Engineering Manager in Chassis Development based in Leicestershire. You will lead a talented team responsible for the design, development and validation of chassis components across new motorcycle programmes, while ensuring projects hit performance, cost and timing targets.

You will work with Global teams across the UK and India to shape premium motorcycles. You will oversee CAD models, drive rigorous validation, and contribute to a collaborative engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading engineering teams within automotive or motorcycle environments.
• Background in design and development of vehicle chassis/dynamics.
• Experience delivering engineered products from concept to production.
• Working knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for chassis design, development and validation across motorcycle programmes.
• Manage engineering delivery to meet performance, cost, weight, quality and timing targets.
• Oversee 3D CAD models and drawings, maintaining robust design standards.
• Drive validation activities including testing, problem solving and failure analysis.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Product Strategy, Vehicle Dynamics, Manufacturing, Quality and Sourcing.
• Lead daily engineering activities, prioritise workloads and support concurrent projects.
