Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading an engineering team in automotive development/launch.
• Experience delivering chassis components in automotive programmes.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and team coordination skills.
• Structured problem solving with cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent status reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of product development, DV/PV, releases and change management.
• Familiarity with APQP/PPAP and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead chassis component team through final development and launch.
• Prioritise workload in line with program milestones and resources.
• Maintain integrated delivery status across the module.
• Lead major issue resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Provide status reports to client management and TTL.
• Escalate significant issues with defined recovery actions.
• Ensure DV, PV, sign-off activities align with timing.
• Coordinate support for pilot, pre-production and production builds.
• Drive delivery to time, cost, quality and spec.
• Manage engineering changes and cross-functional dependencies.
• Coach team members and ensure closure of actions.
• Support launch activities at customer facilities.
