Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd. urgently seeks a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre MEP projects in Italy. Role covers construction through commissioning, with on-site leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering mission-critical projects, fluent English, and is Italy-based with availability to work on site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale MEP projects, preferably within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants.
• Strong programme, cost and project delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of construction quality, inspections, compliance and commissioning.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify issues early and drive solutions through to completion.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Must be based in Italy and available to work on site 5 days per week.
• Immediate availability / short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale MEP projects from construction through to completion and commissioning.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants on site.
• Take responsibility for programme, cost, quality and overall project delivery.
• Manage key stakeholders and ensure effective communication across all project teams.
• Oversee construction quality, inspections, compliance and commissioning activities.
• Identify installation issues at an early stage and drive effective corrective actions.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
• Provide strong leadership and hands-on support to the site delivery team.
