Job summary

Bimplus in Leeds is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead building services projects from inception to completion. The role offers hybrid working between Leeds office, home and sites, and a clear path to Chartership with supportive structure.

You will design and deliver mechanical building services, prepare designs, specs and tender documents, manage contracts and budgets, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to surveys where required. Salary £45,000–£50,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Building Services design experience.
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion.
• Able to work autonomously.
• CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Building Services projects from inception through to completion.
• Produce designs, specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
• Manage contracts and project delivery.
• Prepare budget estimates and monitor project costs.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Support condition, asset and dilapidation surveys where required.
• Hybrid working between the Leeds office, home and project sites.
