Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Project Planner to develop and maintain detailed mechanical construction schedules for a major nuclear project in the UK. You will align schedules with programme objectives, prepare lookahead plans, and monitor progress across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires an HNC in Engineering and significant site-based planning experience, with expertise in Primavera P6 and engaging with multiple stakeholders. UK right-to-work evidence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a construction planning environment.
• Ability to produce and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical construction schedules aligned to programme objectives.
• Prepare and update four-week lookahead plans and longer-term planning activities.
• Monitor progress against planned outputs and provide schedule updates.
• Integrate engineering, materials, resources, access, quality and commissioning into plans.
• Confirm activity readiness and work with teams to mitigate risks.
