Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Lead Planning Manager for Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. You will drive the integration and control of complex schedules across MEH disciplines, ensuring coordination, interfaces and constraints are managed to deliver a major national infrastructure project.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and expert schedule management to support safe, predictable delivery on a high-profile nuclear programme.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a project controls, planning or programme controls environment.
• Proven experience coordinating complex, multidisciplinary programmes within major project environments.
• Strong expertise in schedule management, including Level 5 planning and lookahead planning.
• Experience managing project interfaces, constraints and dependencies to enable predictable delivery.
• Ability to lead, influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across large-scale engineering, infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Level 5 schedules across the programme.
• Coordinate discipline and area four-week lookahead plans.
• Manage the consolidation and maintenance of the overall 16-week lookahead schedule.
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resource, construction, testing and commissioning requirements into delivery plans.
• Promote collaborative planning, constructive challenge and professional standards to support successful programme delivery.
