Job summary

The Harris Federation is seeking an exceptional Lead Maths Teacher to work across our Secondary Central Quadrant, with initial deployment at Harris Academy Battersea and Harris Academy Peckham. You will lead mathematics teaching across multiple academies, raise standards, and coach colleagues to improve student outcomes.

This is a senior teaching role requiring QTS, a maths degree, and a track record of securing excellent outcomes in a multi-ethnic inner-city setting.

Qualifications

• QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
• At least three years' teaching experience.
• At least two years in a management role.
• Experience of teaching Mathematics to A-Level.
• Evidence of raising standards of achievement.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Experience in observing and evaluating teacher quality with feedback.
• Experience setting targets and managing improvement across Key Stages or wider.

• Accountable for progress and achievement of the students you teach.
• Contribute to professional development of colleagues through coaching and modelling best practice.
• Support delivery of high-quality teaching across Harris Federation academies.
