Job summary

Willenhall E-Act Academy is seeking a Lead Teacher of Mathematics to provide strategic leadership across the Mathematics department, driving improvements in progress and attainment. You will model outstanding teaching, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with academy leaders to deliver improvement priorities and strengthen outcomes across Mathematics.

The role requires QTS and a Maths degree, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and leadership to raise attainment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a mathematics degree or related subject.
• Proven track record of exceptional teaching and student outcomes.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop colleagues.
• Excellent curriculum design, assessment and data analysis to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-quality teaching and learning in Mathematics to secure excellent outcomes.
• Drive curriculum planning, assessment and interventions to raise attainment.
• Model outstanding classroom practice and support colleagues through coaching and development.
• Monitor performance data and implement actions to close achievement gaps.
• Promote high expectations and a culture of ambition and engagement.
