Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians ensuring safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities.

You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to minimise downtime and uphold safety culture. In this hands-on leadership role, you will balance people management with technical expertise and operational priorities to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles.
• Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programmes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple activities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Root cause analysis capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate daily maintenance to ensure equipment availability and efficiency.
• Plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Ensure all activities meet HSE and quality standards.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimise downtime.
• Manage contractor activities and site procedures compliance.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.
