Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a Leeds-based role. You will lead the site CI strategy, drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and optimise processes to improve productivity and quality across the production facility.

You will coach cross-functional teams, deliver measurable cost savings, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 45001 standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt desirable.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and CI.
• Track record of measurable improvements in productivity, quality and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the site-wide Continuous Improvement strategy.
• Drive Lean initiatives using Kaizen, DMAIC, SMED, VSM, Kanban, JIT and Standardised Work.
• Optimise processes, layouts, material flow and equipment utilisation.
• Implement visual management, daily management processes and dashboards.
• Reduce downtime, scrap and bottlenecks to deliver cost savings.
• Ensure ISO standards compliance and drive corrective actions.
• Coach teams in Lean and CI principles.
