Manufacturing Engineer role in Leeds with an award-winning engineering organisation. Lead continuous improvement, optimise manufacturing and assembly processes to improve quality, efficiency and throughput, and drive Lean initiatives.

We seek strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, TPM and ISO standards, plus a degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering. NPI/DFM experience is advantageous; 33 days holiday and a 10% pension are among the benefits. Flexible working hours are offered.

Formación

• Proven manufacturing engineering experience in heavy engineering, electrical manufacturing or related sectors.
• Strong experience delivering Lean, continuous improvement, VSM, process mapping and workflow optimisation.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP systems, TPM and reliability/maintenance best practices.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; experience with NPI and DFM is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead continuous improvement and optimisation of manufacturing and assembly processes to improve quality, efficiency and throughput.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation for consistency and best practice.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis and capacity planning to identify bottlenecks and maximise productivity.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives using problem-solving and RCA methodologies.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as TPM, cycle times, RFT, productivity and performance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production and Maintenance to ensure ISO compliance and support manufacturable product design.
