Job summary

E3 Recruitment advertises a Continuous Improvement Engineer role in Leeds, joining a long‑established engineering group with a strong track record. You will lead site‑wide CI strategy and drive Lean initiatives across Kaizen, DMAIC, SMED and standardised work to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering with Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Production Engineering.
• Proven improvements in productivity, quality, cost, safety and performance through Lean/CI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver site-wide Continuous Improvement strategy.
• Drive Lean initiatives using Kaizen, DMAIC, SMED, VSM, Kanban and JIT.
• Optimize processes, layouts, material flow and equipment utilization.
• Implement visual management, SQCDP daily management and dashboards.
• Reduce downtime, scrap and inefficiencies delivering cost savings.
• Ensure ISO compliance and drive corrective actions to improve quality and safety.
• Coach and develop employees in Lean/CI principles.
