Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in Guildford seeks a skilled MS Method Development Lead to drive LCMSMS bioanalytical method development and validation under GxP. This role blends technical leadership with team management to ensure GLP compliance across projects.

You will optimise extraction and chromatography, mentor a dedicated team, and contribute to regulatory submissions while upholding SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a GxP laboratory with management experience.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC/LCMSMS and chromatography data systems.
• Strong capability in method development, optimisation and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead method development and validation as SME.
• Optimise extraction techniques, chromatography methods and LC columns.
• Manage and mentor the Method Development & Validation team.
• Ensure GLP and SOP compliance; follow international guidelines.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and implement improvements.
• Oversee cost-effective lab operations and consumables spend.
• Write and approve Methods of Analysis and transfer validated methods to teams.
• Support regulatory submissions and respond to regulatory queries.
• Conduct investigations, implement CAPAs and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and ensure adherence to GLP SOPs.
• Lead team meetings and staff development sessions.
