Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen porter experience.
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Health and Safety knowledge.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Legal right to work in the UK and have resided in-country for the past 5 years.
  • A can-do attitude and team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for cleanliness, hospitality, and the food industry.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the kitchen porter team.
  • Create staff rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
  • Oversee washing of kitchenware and deep cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
  • Manage stock and deliveries, including chemical usage.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.
  • Assist with basic food preparation.
  • Meet any other management requests.
