Job summary

CMR Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Internal Sales Supervisor for a hands-on leadership role in the UK construction consumables sector. You will manage a small Internal Sales team while handling enquiries, quotations and problem solving to drive sales and protect margin.

You will build strong supplier relationships and coach colleagues to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer enquiries, providing quotations, product advice and a high level of customer service.
• Take ownership of complex and high-value enquiries, using commercial judgement to maximise sales opportunities while protecting margin.
• Proactively follow up quotations and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into orders and strengthen customer relationships.
• Build effective relationships with suppliers to source products, negotiate commercial terms and resolve customer issues.
• Lead, support and develop a small Internal Sales team, acting as a key point of contact for guidance, coaching and product knowledge.
