Job summary

CMR Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Internal Sales Supervisor for a leading supplier of construction consumables and equipment across the UK. You will be hands-on, handling enquiries, quotations and problem solving while guiding a small Internal Sales team from the front.

The role combines customer-facing sales activity with leadership, coaching and product knowledge to drive business growth and margin protection in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer enquiries, providing quotations, product advice and a high level of customer service.
• Take ownership of complex and high-value enquiries, using commercial judgement to maximise sales opportunities while protecting margin.
• Proactively follow up quotations and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into orders and strengthen customer relationships.
• Build effective relationships with suppliers to source products, negotiate commercial terms and resolve customer issues.
• Lead, support and develop a small Internal Sales team, acting as a key point of contact for guidance, coaching and product knowledge.

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Supervisor to join our client, a leading supplier of construction consumables and equipment, supplying major contractors and national housebuilders across the UK.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys being at the centre of the action. You'll remain actively involved in customer enquiries, quotations and problem solving while providing day-to-day support and guidance to a small Internal Sales team.
