Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Internal Sales Representative for a heavyside building products client in Derbyshire. You will work with an externally based Sales Manager to drive sales, grow the customer base and strengthen relationships across the region.

Expect a high daily call volume, pursuit of new leads, responses to enquiries, and progression of projects from architectural stages to order with meticulous CRM management.

Qualifications

• History of sales experience or customer-facing roles.
• Good knowledge of IT, especially CRM, Excel and Outlook.
• Articulate and able to communicate points clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Highest level of professionalism; construction industry knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls (40/day) to stakeholders in construction projects.
• Work to sales KPIs and targets and pursue new leads.
• Respond to occasional inbound enquiries and sell across product ranges.
• Progress specifications from architectural stages to order with full ownership.
• Manage customer database accurately and timely; communicate with colleagues daily.
• Track projects through to multiple stakeholders.
