Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen existing relationships. You will manage quotations, drive orders from enquiry to fulfilment, and work with the wider commercial team to identify opportunities.

You’ll generate new business via structured outbound activity, handle pricing for key customers, and deliver exceptional customer service from enquiry through to order dispatch.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management or customer service within a commercial environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in making outbound sales calls and developing new business opportunities.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and close conversations positively.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business through structured outbound sales activity and follow-up.
• Building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Managing a portfolio of customers through planned sales calls and customer management plans.
• Pricing customer opportunities and raising quotations in line with commercial guidelines.
• Working with DSMs to analyse market opportunities and competitor activity.
