AECOM is seeking a qualified engineer to lead HV substation design delivery across a varied portfolio, including transmission projects with National Grid and EirGrid frameworks. You will develop primary layouts, specify HV plant equipment, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through FEED and detailed design stages.

You will collaborate with clients and external partners, manage design assurance, and support construction with commissioning and fault resolution.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in consultancy, contractor or utility in the energy sector
• FEED/detailed design experience for HV infrastructure
• Full driver license

Responsabilidades

• Produce primary plant layouts for HV substations
• Lead engineering design input to major infrastructure projects
• Undertake Project Development/Pre-construction activities, including optimum cable routes
• Undertake equipment specifications for HV Plant and associated equipment
• Develop specifications with technology specialists and external partners
• Develop tender specifications and undertake tender evaluations
• Provide design assurance of tender documentation and supplier meetings
• Review supplier designs during construction, conduct manufacturing assurance audits, support FAT and commissioning
