Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Lead Technician based at Salford Royal Hospital to oversee technical performance and maintenance for the Salford Royal contract. The position is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Lead Technician will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate with helpdesk and TSM/TSS, and ensure compliance with service levels and health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus with high standards of customer service.
• FM/hospital experience or PFI environment is an advantage.
• HTM knowledge would be an advantage.
• RP/AP duties in at least two areas (water management, ventilation, medical gases) would be advantageous.
• Apprentice trained with mechanical/electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for day-to-day supervision and performance of the contract.
• Balance and allocate Planned, Reactive and Lifecycle works to meet SLAs.
• Install, commission and service plant equipment and industrial furniture.
• Diagnose faults and monitor performance through the PM program.
• Lead team meetings and toolbox talks, training and engagement.
• Escalate issues to the Technical Services Manager as appropriate.
