Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland are recruiting a Multiskilled Technician (Electrical) for the Salford area, primarily based at Salford Royal Hospital. The role is permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week with a split shift pattern across weeks.

The technician will maintain electrical systems, provide guidance on site, and support out-of-hours on-call duties. The successful candidate will have an electrical apprenticeship, 18th Edition, experience with lighting and small power circuits, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition.
• Experience of working on lighting and small power circuits.
• Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and resource projects.
• Ensure workload delivered to specification and service requirements.
• Install, maintain and repair plant equipment.
• Diagnose, fault-find and commission systems; monitor facility performance.
• Maintain compliance with H&S and environmental regulations.
• Communicate with on-site partners and sub-contractors.
