Job summary

EQUANS seeks a Lead Technician based at Salford Royal Hospital to oversee technical performance and maintenance on the contract. You will guide on-site teams, ensure compliant solutions, and deliver efficient service in a live hospital setting, 37.5 hours weekly.

The role requires RP/AP duties experience, a mechanical/electrical background, and solid FM knowledge, with strong coordination with helpdesk and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of customer service.
• FM experience within a hospital and/or PFI environment would be an advantage.
• Currently trained and/or experienced in RP/AP duties in at least two disciplines.
• Apprentice trained and qualified/experienced within a mechanical/electrical background.
• Basic computer literacy and understanding of HR related items.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise team meetings, including toolbox talks and training.
• Supervise with TSS and participate in on-call system.
• Balance planned, reactive and lifecycle works to meet SLAs.
• Install, commission and service plant equipment and associated systems.
• Interface with suppliers and helpdesk to ensure efficient maintenance delivery.
