Job summary

Castle Education is expanding its network of partner schools in Hull and East Yorkshire, seeking experienced HLTA professionals to provide flexible, high-quality classroom support across primary and secondary settings.

The role offers opportunities to lead small groups, deliver targeted interventions, and cover lessons under teacher direction, with emphasis on safeguarding and positive pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified HLTA with classroom experience
• Ability to deliver planned lessons and cover
• Experience supporting literacy, numeracy or subject learning
• Experience with learners with SEND or additional learning needs
• Ability to assess and monitor pupil progress

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and provide classroom cover
• Lead targeted interventions and small-group learning
• Support assessment and monitor pupil progress
• Work with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
