Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a long-term, full-time position in Milton Keynes. You will lead classes, cover lessons, deliver planned activities and provide targeted support to pupils with diverse needs.

• Ability to lead whole-class learning and small-group activities.
• Experience supporting children and young people in education.
• Calm, consistent behaviour management and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning and cover lessons when required.
• Deliver planned lessons, learning activities and interventions.
• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support.
• Support pupils with a range of learning, behavioural and additional needs.
• Assist with planning, preparation and assessment.
• Monitor pupil engagement and progress and provide feedback to staff.
