Job summary

BSPS Ltd is seeking a Construction Project Manager for externals in London. You will lead external restoration and refurbishment projects, from £50k to £3.5m, coordinating teams, specialists and clients to protect historic fabric.

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will develop programmes, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive project delivery within time and cost constraints. A strong heritage background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience managing external refurbishment, restoration or heritage projects.
• Solid knowledge of London heritage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• CIOB IHBC membership or similar heritage accreditation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes and budgets: create milestones, schedules, budgets and monitor progress.
• Oversee procurement: select/manage subcontractors and ensure quantity/quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with building regs, health and safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation: permits, RAMS, RFIs and CVIs; manage snagging and defects.
• Communicate with clients and architects; report milestones and risks to stakeholders.
