JN Bentley Ltd. is seeking a Lead Hand/Ganger to lead a groundworks gang in the Bury St Edmunds area, mainly on the Anglian Water framework. You will supervise civils tasks, ensure productivity, quality and safety, and coordinate across sites with Site Management.

A readiness to lodge away when needed is expected. The role requires a strong background in water-related civils work, concrete pours, drainage and pipe laying, plus CSCS/CPCS/NPORS with NVQ and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualificações

• Proven experience managing a gang on civils projects.
• Experience leading skilled and semi-skilled groundworkers.
• Strong health and safety focus with a reporting culture.
• Experience in concrete pours, deep drainage and pipe laying.
• Current CSCS, CPCS / NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and relevant plant tickets.
• Site Supervisor or Site Management training.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a groundworks gang across sites predominantly within the water industry.
• Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and health & safety on site.
• Coordinate with Site Management and other crews, including lodging away when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality policies.
