Job summary

JN Bentley is seeking a Lead Hand to head a civils gang on Bayston Hill area sites, primarily within the water industry. You will report to Site Management and drive health and safety, quality and on-site coordination.

Experience with ductile iron pipework is essential, with background in civils, concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying. A UK driving licence and relevant tickets are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a civils gang on site projects.
• Proactive attitude to health and safety and reporting culture.
• CSCS/CPCS/NOCN/NPORS with NVQ and Plant Tickets required/advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a civils gang on multiple construction sites, primarily water industry.
• Report to Site Management and maintain high safety standards.
• Support project delivery with pipework, drainage and concreting tasks.
