Job summary

JN Bentley Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Hand / Ganger to lead a groundworks gang in the Morpeth region, with work across the wider area on our sites. The role prefers a candidate who can join with an existing gang and bring strong civils and groundworks experience, with a proactive attitude to health and safety.

Reporting to Site Management, you will supervise a groundworks gang on construction sites, primarily within the water industry, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety

Qualifications

Proven experience managing a civils/ganger team on site.
Strong health & safety focus and reporting culture.
Experience in general civil works: concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying.
Current CSCS, CPCS / NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and relevant Plant Tickets.
Site Supervisor or Site Management training.
Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and health & safety on site.
