Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Geospatial Consultant in the UK to lead GeoAI projects across infrastructure, land, water and environment. You will design, build and deploy advanced geospatial solutions with Esri tools, Python workflows and AI/ML integration.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and shape the GeoAI approach within the practice while delivering high-quality client outcomes in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven GIS experience with emphasis on Python development and automation.
• Strong Python skills including ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python.
• Experience applying AI/ML to geospatial problems is a plus.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise and geodatabase workflows.
• Degree in GIS, Geography, CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GeoAI solutions using Esri tools and open frameworks.
• Write production-grade Python toolboxes and spatial data pipelines.
• Integrate deep learning into geospatial workflows at scale.
• Lead technical delivery across GIS/GeoAI projects and client workstreams.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in spatial data science.
• Provide technical assurance and document methodologies.
