Kier Group in Wellingborough is hiring a Ganger to lead our highways maintenance team. You will oversee a small crew, ensure safe, high-quality road repairs, and manage daily works with PUWER compliance.

Qualifications

• Lead teams successfully and deliver in demanding environments.
• Hold SMSTS/SSSTS or similar qualification.
• Hold a NRSWA Operative or similar qualification.
• Drive and hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to maintain the highway network across North Northamptonshire.
• Undertake repair works to highways assets including tarmacadam repairs.
• Safely operate and maintain PUWER records for equipment.
• Manage works daily and keep the site safe for operatives and the public.
• Conduct site risk assessments and ensure safe-working procedures.
