Job summary

JN Bentley is seeking a Lead Hand / Ganger to steer a groundworks crew across civil water projects in the Silsden area and wider region. You will drive productivity, quality and safety on site while coordinating with Site Management.

Ideal candidates will have proven gang management experience, a strong health & safety focus, and relevant CSCS/CPCS/NVQ plant tickets with a UK driving licence. Training and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a civils-groundworks gang.
• Experience in general civil works incl. concreting, drainage, and pipe laying.
• Recent CSCS/CPCS/NOCN/NPORS with NVQ and relevant plant tickets.
• Site supervision or management training completed.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a groundworks gang across sites, primarily in water-related civils.
• Maintain high productivity, quality, and health & safety standards.
• Report to Site Management and develop the gang’s capabilities.
