Winner Education are seeking a Food Technology Teacher for a secondary school in the Worcester area. The role starts in January and is long term, delivering to KS3 and KS4 classes.

You will work with the Curriculum Lead to keep the department up to date, lead exam preparation, adapt lessons to pupil needs, and create engaging sessions. Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references from their most recent employer.

Qualifications

• QTS or significant experience teaching Food Technology
• Experience in secondary school KS3/KS4
• Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum for Food Tech
• Demonstrate resilience, patience and team spirit
• Good classroom and behaviour management

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Curriculum Lead to keep curriculum up to date
• Lead department and manage exam prep and data entry
• Adapt lessons to meet pupil needs
• Create engaging and stimulating lessons
• Support KS3/KS4 pupils in small classes
• Conduct assessments and progress reports
• Ensure pupils meet targets
• Host parents evenings when required
• Deliver interactive lesson plans and booster sessions
