Job summary

First For Education, in partnership with a high-achieving Dudley school, seeks a dedicated Secondary Teacher in Food Technology for a full-time, long-term position. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5, ensuring strong practical outcomes and pupil engagement.

The role welcomes experienced teachers and ECTs, offers competitive daily pay (£150–£250), weekly PAYE, and ongoing CPD support within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5.
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
