Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a secondary school in Walsall, starting October 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position teaching KS3 and KS4 in Food Technology and Nutrition.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement. You will promote safe food handling practices and help students develop practical skills and creativity.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology and Nutrition.
• Experience teaching Design Technology or Food Technology at secondary level.
• Able to teach KS3 and KS4; both theory and practical lessons.
• Commitment to safety and food hygiene in practical lessons.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
