Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Lead First Line Manager to join our Stafford Fulfilment Centre. You’ll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, drive performance, and build a safe, inclusive team culture across day and night shifts.

In this senior FLM role, you’ll act as deputy to the Senior Operations Manager, manage resource planning, and deliver service, productivity and quality targets while developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams within a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development abilities.
• Experience working in an automated warehouse environment.
• Confident IT skills and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across multiple warehouse functions, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing processes.
• Conduct daily briefings and provide KPI, service levels, errors, volumes and damages updates.
• Plan and manage labour to meet demand and optimise resource allocation across shifts.
• Lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a safe, inclusive working environment.
