Job summary

Pet Drugs Online, part of Independent Vetcare Limited, is seeking an experienced Fulfilment Manager to oversee our on-site picking, packing and dispatch operations. You will translate demand into effective labour plans, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead six Team Leaders, ensure on-time dispatch, uphold safety standards and collaborate with warehouse colleagues to optimise stock availability and customer service.

function.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering outstanding service performance. What you'll be doing

• Leading the day-to-day fulfilment operation across picking, packing and dispatch. Creating labour and shift plans that align resources with customer demand. Monitoring performance throughout the shift and proactively managing operational challenges. Ensuring carrier cut-off times are achieved and customer orders are dispatched on time. Coaching, developing and holding six Team Leaders accountable for performance, safety and operational standards. Driving improvements in productivity, quality and workflow efficiency. Working closely with warehouse colleagues to ensure stock availability supports fulfilment requirements. Using operational data and KPIs to identify issues, improve performance and support decision-making. Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and operational discipline.
• Proven experience leading high-volume fulfilment, warehouse or distribution operations. Strong people management skills with experience leading supervisors, team leaders or shift managers. Excellent labour planning and operational control capabilities. Good understanding of picking, packing and dispatch processes. Experience using operational data and performance metrics to drive results. A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
