Job summary

JLL in London is seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead the on-site facilities maintenance and engineering team at a prestigious Central London site, delivering a best-in-class service and ensuring the building's infrastructure is safe, efficient and resilient.

You will oversee MEP systems, the PPM schedule, reactive maintenance, and CAFM workflows, manage subcontractors, contribute to continuous improvement, and report monthly on SLAs, KPIs and asset performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in a facilities maintenance supervision role, preferably in a corporate or high-end commercial environment.
• Hands-on technical background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Demonstrable experience managing an in-house multi-skilled engineering team.
• Proficient in using CAFM systems for work order management and reporting.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds or HNC/HND in building services are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the on-site engineering team to deliver maintenance and repair services per the contract.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to foster skill development.
• Maintain staffing levels and arrange shift coverage, including out-of-hours support.
• Champion a Safety First culture and deliver safety talks and awareness programs.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for MEP systems and building fabric.
• Utilize CAFM systems to manage workflows, track asset performance and meet SLAs/KPIs.
• Review RAMS and permits to work for maintenance tasks; manage subcontractors and supplier quotes.
