Job summary

JLL in London seeks a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead the engineering transition from construction to operational excellence at a premium Mayfair facility. You will own the journey from practical completion through to BAU, overseeing live trading floor environments and a seven-strong engineering team on-site.

Reporting to the Account Manager, you will establish maintenance regimes, drive energy efficiency, ensure 24/7 readiness, and build strong client relationships while embedding

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing technical services or engineering operations in premium commercial, data centre, or critical environments.
• Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, developing, and managing engineering teams.
• In-depth knowledge of building services, M&E systems, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management—comfortable working with C-suite clients and senior leadership.
• Relevant technical qualifications (HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-handover phase: attend handover sessions and witness testing/commissioning of critical building systems.
• Recruit, onboard and mobilise the engineering team ahead of go-live.
• Manage the transition from construction to operational management across a multi-floor facility.
• Implement planned preventative maintenance programmes and 24/7 readiness for critical systems.
• Build strong client relationships and establish engineering standards and maintenance regimes.
