Job summary

Think Recruitment are working with a reputable property maintenance contractor to recruit a Lead Electrician for the repairs and maintenance team across Derbyshire. It is a hands-on role operating in residential properties, with mentoring duties for junior electricians.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or an apprenticeship, 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391, AM2, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or completed apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
• AM2 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance in occupied properties.
• Complete electrical testing, inspections and fault finding.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Support and mentor electricians and apprentices.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure electrical compliance.
• Complete job reports using mobile devices.

Location: Derbyshire & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £45,100 per annum + Overtime

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Think Recruitment are working with an established property maintenance contractor who are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their repairs and maintenance team across Derbyshire.

This is a hands-on role carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and testing within residential properties, alongside providing technical support to other electricians.

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance in occupied properties.
• Complete electrical testing, inspections and fault finding.

Requirements

• Previous experience within social housing or residential maintenance.
