Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Lead Electrician to cover Derbyshire and surrounding areas. You will repair, maintain and test electrical systems in occupied residential properties, providing guidance to junior electricians and apprentices while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

The role requires relevant qualifications and a full UK driving licence, with overtime opportunities and a generous benefits package including a company vehicle and pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or completed apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
• AM2 qualification.
• Experience in domestic electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Previous experience within social housing or residential maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to support and mentor other electricians.

Responsibilities

Salary: 45,100 per annum + Overtime Estimated Earnings 55,000

Think Recruitment are working with an established property maintenance contractor who are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their repairs and maintenance team across Derbyshire.

This is a hands-on role carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and testing within residential properties, alongside providing technical support to other electricians.
