Job summary

Think Recruitment are working with an established property maintenance contractor who are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their repairs and maintenance team across Derbyshire, delivering electrical repairs, installations and routine maintenance in occupied residential properties.

This hands-on, supervisory role includes completing electrical testing, inspections and fault finding, mentoring electricians and apprentices, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition and City &

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or apprenticeship completed.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge required.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
• AM2 qualification and experience in domestic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance in occupied properties.
• Complete electrical testing, inspections and fault finding.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Support and mentor electricians and apprentices.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure electrical compliance.

Salary: 45,100 per annum + Overtime

This is a hands‑on role carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and testing within residential properties, alongside providing technical support to other electricians.

Requirements

• Previous experience within social housing or residential maintenance.

• Full UK driving licence.
