Job summary

GE Vernova’s Marine Power Test Facility seeks a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to drive the design, integration and validation of electro-mechanical systems across dedicated test beds. You will provide technical leadership from concept to delivery, mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical system design for complex test beds.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical systems design from concept through commissioning.
• Develop and review technical specifications, engineering documentation, and design deliverables.
• Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, simulations, protection coordination, fault analysis.
• Ensure electrical designs meet performance, safety, regulatory, customer, and industry standards (IEC, BS, IEEE, UL).
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex electrical system issues during development, testing, commissioning, and field operation.
• Provide technical leadership, advice and assistance to the overall project team as appropriate.
