Job summary

GE Vernova in the UK is seeking a Lead Power Systems & Test Engineer to provide electrical leadership for the Marine Power Test Facility in Whetstone. You will balance maintaining existing infrastructure with commissioning and testing of new power systems, reporting to the Marine Power Test & Trials Manager.

You will manage safe systems of work as SAP, coordinate complex site activities, ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements to keep the facility at

Qualifications

• Electrical HV authorised and experience in safe systems of work.
• Proven track record of site-based power test and commissioning.
• Ability to produce and maintain reference documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to obtain UK SC and Eyes Only clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical leadership for Marine Power Test Facility and new power systems.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing of power equipment.
• Manage safe systems of work and risk assessments as SAP.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and drawings control.
• Oversee testing, trials and control room operations per procedures.
