GE Vernova’s Marine Power Test Facility (MPTF) is a leading test and development hub for naval power and propulsion systems in the United Kingdom. The Lead Electrical Systems Engineer will direct a multidisciplinary team from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and performance across complex electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, and relevant practical experience in an electrical engineering environment.
• Working towards or hold CEng qualification.
• Experience in a project engineering or technical lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical systems design from concept through commissioning, including system architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and interface definitions.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and ensure compliance with standards
• Serve as main technical point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support Power System studies and analysis
• Generate main and balance of plant equipment specifications and tests
