Job summary

Stantec in the UK seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead EICA design for water projects across the South West, Wales and Midlands, including Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham and beyond.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, liaise with managers, clients and partners to drive optioning through to detailed design, including feasibility studies, site surveys and investigations. Chartered or Incorporated status with years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• You will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject and ideally Chartered or Incorporated status with several years’ experience in EICA engineering design within the water industry.
• You will be able to write technical specifications, control philosophies, EICA schedules and drawings, and be familiar with developing design concepts and solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will work in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with Project Managers, Design Managers and Design Engineers as well as clients, supply chain partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community.
• You will be involved in projects from optioneering and concept design through to outline and detailed design as well as feasibility studies, site surveys and site investigations.
