Qualifications

• Qualified and recognised in the industry, preferably Chartered status.
• Proven technical knowledge in electrical/building services design and regulations.
• Experience leading integrated design teams on complex projects.
• Excellent client facing skills and ability to manage difficult situations calmly.
• Commercial awareness and ability to monitor costs for profitable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design delivery for significant and complex schemes, ensuring objectives and technical quality.
• Define and agree the design brief with clients and manage relationships professionally.
• Represent Hoare Lea at project meetings and promote services to clients.
• Lead internal project teams, coordinate with disciplines and external consultants.
• Review and check work, support professional development of team members.
• Monitor expenditure, report on costs and resource needs to the team leader.
• Identify and manage project and commercial risks and procurement impacts.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Share knowledge across the business and collaborate on coordinated building designs.
• Communicate openly at all levels, internally and externally.
