Job summary

Platform Housing Group seeks a Lead Engineer – Electrical for Platform Property Care in Lincolnshire. You will spend most days delivering repairs, testing and installations, while coaching colleagues and supporting apprentices to raise standards across teams.

You will lead governance, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery for social housing customers. A full driving licence is essential for this mobile role.

Qualifications

• Completed Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ 3 with City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Testing.
• AM2 and 18th Edition knowledge are required.
• Sound health and safety understanding and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry our electrical repairs, testing and maintenance in homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs end-to-end with strong customer service.
• Coach, mentor and develop colleagues and apprentices.
• Sign off staff against multi-skill framework and support EPA.
• Promote trade standards and best practice across Property Care.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development for upskilling and audits.
