Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is recruiting a Lead Engineer - Electrical to cover Nottingham, Newark and the surrounding area. You'll spend most of your time delivering repairs, testing and electrical installations while mentoring colleagues and supporting apprentices.

You will lead on quality, safety and compliance, coach teams, and drive best practice across our Property Care operations.

Qualifications

• Completed an Electrical apprenticeship or hold an NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Commissioning and Certification.
• City & Guilds 2391, or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• AM2 and 18th Edition regulation are required.
• JIB Approved Electrician card is desirable.
• Sound experience delivering electrical works in domestic settings and strong health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs, testing, inspection and maintenance work in customers’ homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion with excellent customer service.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and support apprentices through End Point Assessments.
• Sign off colleagues against our multi-skill framework and promote best practice.
• Lead trade audits and drive compliance and high standards across the team.
